The Wedding

 DAY 1

A Pre Wedding Greek Night event in the traditional square of Dionyssos Restaurant at Elounda Beach Hotel including a delicious buffet of Greek dishes with live music provided and folk dance show performed by a dancer-ballet with traditional costumes.

Everyone needs to review the videos below and learn the traditional Greek Dance for Greek Night! The first video is a tutorial of the traditional Hasapiko dance and the second is its more modern variation, the Syrtaki!

DAY 2

An Orthodox wedding on September 4th, 2021 no later than 18:00hrs outside the private chapel, located at the Elounda Beach Hotel.  A local priest will perform, in Greek, the wedding ceremony. The duration of the ceremony is approximately 1 hour.

Upon completion of the wedding, everyone will visit the Veghera Jetty, where we will have champagne  and snacks.   

During the cocktail, traditional wooden kaikis suitable for 40-50 persons each will be available nearby the Veghera area and till the cocktail is finished, in order to have a small tour across Mirabello Bay and transfer from Veghera Bar to the waterfront Thalassa Restaurant, where the dinner will take place.

The Wedding Dinner will be at the waterfront Thalassa Restaurant.

After dinner (23:00hrs) the party will continue inside Thalassa Restaurant with a DJ providing entertainment till the early hours. 

DAY 3

An after Wedding Family Style Brunch will be held in the traditional square of Dionyssos/ Kafenion Restaurants at Elounda Beach Hotel including local Cretan pure specialties.
